"Currently the German Lutheran Archives in Greifswald, Germany are only open one day a week.  With the Archives limited schedule every minute counts while doing research.  My son and I actually traveled to Greifswald to do research in March 2007.  We employed Martin Sohn to help us with the research.  His knowledge of the church records, and ability to read the old German text was outstanding.  We accomplish more in one day than we would have in 4 or 5 visits.   This year we will not be going to Germany but will use Martin’s services to do additional research.  We have and will continue to recommend him to anyone that wants research done at the Archives.  A very satisfied customer!

If you have any questions prior to using Martin's services, you can contact me on my cell phone  (407) 451-3730 or via Email (billhseeya@cfl.rr.com)."

"Martin quickly resplied to my inquiry about doing research on my SPIEGELBERG family at the Landeskirchliches Archiv in Greifswald.  He listed his charges and gave me a date when he hoped to make the trip to the Archiv.  Shortly after that date, he e-mailed me, in detail, what he found.  Most helpful is the fact that he corresponds in English."

"I want to add my hearty endorsement to both the technical ability and flexible and timely responsiveness of Mr. Martin Sohn, genealogy researcher.  I was referred to him three years ago, and through these three years he has helped me work back four more generations in my direct maternal line.  He has found new connections and ancestors in other lines as well.  He has corrected my transcription errors, translated and explained both German and Latin terms, deciphered impossible records, and made many helpful suggestions on how and where to get more information.  I could not have achieved substantial progress without his assistance."

"Mr Sohn has been extremely helpful in finding my german ancestors in Welzin Germany.  His prices are very reasonable and he is quick to get the information back to you.  I am very pleased and happy with his work and especially his prices.  I would highly recommend him to help you with your genealogy research."

"I asked Martin Sohn to research the family origins of the Neitzel and Schwichtenberg families and their spouses fromKriewitz Village in Pommern, Prussia. He gave me 10 pages of genealogy with copies of relevant German accompanying documents. His English presentation and translations were very clear and precise. My husband and I were thrilled with his results and were very happy with his price."
